9/9 Portal Take - Home Ritual

RELEASE + BEGIN
A simple ritual for tonight + tomorrow
You don’t have to figure everything out at once.
Tonight is for closing what is complete.
Tomorrow is for making space for what comes next.

TONIGHT — RELEASE

Find a quiet place and take a few slow breaths.

On a small piece of paper, write:
What am I ready to stop carrying?

It might be:

  • an old story

  • something you’re waiting for

  • a habit or pattern

  • an expectation

  • a relationship or dynamic

  • a fear

  • a version of yourself you’ve outgrown

Don’t overthink it. Write what you already know.

Then underneath it, ask:
What did this teach me that I want to keep?

Let yourself separate the wisdom from the weight.

Keep the wisdom.

Then tear up, recycle, or safely discard the part you’re ready to release.

As you do, say quietly:

“I’ve learned what I needed to learn here.
I keep the wisdom.
I release the weight.
This can be complete.”

And then leave the space empty. You do not need to immediately replace what you released.

TOMORROW — BEGIN

Return to that quiet space. Light a candle if you’d like.

Take three slow breaths and ask:
What do I want to make room for now?

Instead of choosing a huge goal, begin with how you want your next chapter to feel.

Maybe:

  • Peace.

  • Clarity.

  • Freedom.

  • Creativity.

  • Confidence.

  • Connection.

  • Ease.

  • Joy.

  • Trust.

  • Support.

Choose one.

Then ask: What would this actually look like in my everyday life?

Write one small, specific way you can begin living it. Not someday. Not when everything is perfect. Just one first step.

Finish with:

“I don’t need to know the whole way forward.
I’m willing to make space for what feels true now.
I release what is complete, and I welcome what is ready to begin.”

Then blow out the candle and let that be enough.
